Deer brought traffic on Hamburg’s A25 to a halt on Thursday afternoon, and the motorway was closed in both directions.
Hamburg police and the fire brigade were deployed as the animals kept emergency crews busy. The closure led to congestion on the autobahn. The report was published at 17:07 on 22 October 2026.
